railway lodge is my ideal hostel - beautiful, clean, and with a helpful staff. the 19th-century building and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. the restaurant and location near the train station were perfect for my stay in hatton.
Bathrooms could use a fresh coat of paint.

My stay at Railway Lodge was fantastic! The building itself was stunning and the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. The bathroom was amazing with hot water and the tea tasting in the shop downstairs was a delightful experience. I also loved the relaxing view overlooking the railway. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Railway Lodge.
Although minor, there was a small issue with the initial room I was given as the door was broken and couldn't be locked. However, the staff quickly resolved the issue and provided me with a new room.
